The Xilin Ancient Ferry, rich in history, serves as the backdrop for this exhibition, themed "Searching in Xilin/Tuojiang Mysteries." Aimed at storytelling and memory creation, it leverages the ferry's day and night roles in the community. Where boats once crowded, now bridges and vehicles dominate, yet the ferry still connects past and present, weaving through the Tuo River's history.
This exhibition introduces public art to transform the ferry into the city's "artistic showroom," reconnecting with traditions faded in urban renewal. It narrates the cultural linkage between districts against the backdrop of the Qixi and Zhongyuan festivals, embodying local romance and exploration.
Special guests, folk creatives Li Yousheng and Li Qiaoling, join Central Academy of Fine Arts artists to blend traditional and contemporary narratives. Their works, set against the ferry's bustling backdrop, offer imagination and solace, promising to revitalize urban spaces and accompany both locals and visitors in creating shared memories.
This initiative not only celebrates the area's heritage but also fosters a creative dialogue between history and modernity, inviting participants to explore, reflect, and imagine within the urban landscape.

癸卯将至，习俗生成计划第二期即将开启。新一年度主题为“新卯藏亭”（SEEKING RABBITS），中英文标题一藏一寻，遥相呼应。
“亭”原指有顶无墙，以供休息或观赏风景的建筑物，多设于风景优美之地。作为一种形制，亭在发展过程中渐渐延伸出了邮亭、电话亭、报刊亭等有着不同功能的小型建筑，既是城市文化景观的一部分，又是我们联结城市与时代的精神载体，更是文化供给的土地。
近年来，街巷里报刊亭数量骤减，亭中报刊、城市地图、旅行指南等渐稀，马路边的电话亭也逐渐废弃。城市中遍布的核酸亭，在完成时代使命后也正缓缓退场。
“亭”的命运一波三折，其本义也日渐模糊。由此，我们试图构建一个“亭”式公共建筑，还原“亭”的本义，找寻城市的烟火气，为疲于奔波的行人提供歇息，为疏于传统的市民唤醒记忆，为趋于冷淡的年俗重归活力。希望“亭”作为艺术文化枢纽，为大众提供精神滋养，为地方彰显文化底蕴。
在共青团内江市委、内江市志愿者协会的支持下，本项目推出并布置充满年味的快闪“亭”，并以此为核心更新年货陈列，分发兔年艺术周边，期望扩大文化传播范围，提升整座城市的节日氛围与审美水平。“亭”，不仅是一个年货快闪空间，还是一个兔年主题新春展览，是一座年俗博物馆，更是一座城市的文化宣传中心。
有亭名曰新卯，有兔藏于其中。
