We left home to pursue our studies, traveling far and wide, yet gradually, we began to forget where we came from, losing touch with the local customs and seasonal traditions. "Always replacing old charms with new ones" is our reflection on the evolving nature of festivals. In a time when the festive atmosphere is increasingly fading, we explore the origins, transformations, and new forms of the Spring Festival, hoping to prompt viewers to reflect on these traditions: Why must we continuously replace the old with the new? What factors have caused the loss of the festive spirit? And who is shaping our holidays?

This exhibition is housed within a tricycle in Shanghai, marking our attempt to bring a micro-exhibition to the public. In a small, mobile space amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, perhaps the festive atmosphere once floated gently on the breeze.
