About ART CONTAINER
ART CONTAINER is an art group established in November 2020. The team is centered on creating "ART EVENTS" and is dedicated to exploring the artistic ecology of various regions through operational modes such as "Cultural Fair Gathering." In its quarterly nomadic projects, it constructs multi-perspective, cross-cultural ethnographic observations and periodic spaces for artistic reflection.
Inspired by the operational system of shipping containers at the Yangshan Deep-Water Port in Shanghai, the team draws its working philosophy and model from the characteristics of modern logistics systems, such as automation, efficient management, and multimodal transport. By exploring and uncovering regional resources, ART CONTAINER achieves extended presentations in circulation, enriching the creation of art events and deepening research across multiple locations. This approach aims to establish a responsive cycle of art resources, thereby promoting cultural flow.
We aspire to break the fixed identities within the art world, hoping to engage in research practices from the perspectives of both art participants and observers through the group’s mobility and diversity. The areas of involvement include, but are not limited to, experimental exhibitions, art popularization, textual sketches, custom generation, social education, multisensory art, and urban-rural explorations. These efforts are gradually building a mobile cross-regional cultural research hub. ART CONTAINER is not just a platform for the circulation of art resources but also an interactive space for regional cultural resources. Team members rooted worldwide integrate local exhibitions, study regional cultures, discover outstanding artists, and promote multidimensional, multi-level art exploration and cross-cultural exchanges. This accelerates the circulation of art resources, creating a polyphonic public space, and forming a fluid art ecosystem.

ART CONTAINER是成立于2020年11月的艺术团体。团队以制造“艺术事件”为核心，通过“文化赶场”等运作模式，致力探索各地艺术生态样貌，在季度性的游牧里，打造多视角、跨文化的民族志观察与周期性艺术反思空间。
团队从上海洋山深水港货运集装箱运作系统中获取灵感，从现代物流系统的自动化、高效管理和多式联运等特点中，提取团队工作理念及模式，通过探索发掘各地域资源，在流通中达成延伸式呈现，以丰富艺术事件的制造和多地点位的深化研究，实现艺术资源的呼应循环，促进文化流动。
我们期冀打破艺术世界中身份的固化，希望通过团体的流动性与多元性，以艺术参与者、观察者的角度进行研究性实践，涉及领域包括但不限于实验展览、艺术科普、文本速写、习俗生成、社会教育、多感官艺术、城乡在地探索等方面，逐步建构流动的跨地域文化研究枢纽。ART CONTAINER不仅是艺术资源的流转平台，更是地域文化资源的互动空间。团队成员扎根世界各地，整合当地展览活动，研究区域文化，发掘优秀艺术家，推动实现多维度、多层次的艺术探索与跨文化交流，为艺术资源的流通提速，形成流动的艺术生态。
